MSW@USC Mobile App
MSW@USC students know firsthand how easy it is to access live web-based classes and connect to online communities in the Virtual Academic Center. Now you can do it on the go. Yep, there’s an app for that! The USC School of Social Work presents the new MSW@USC iPhone/iPad application. Logging on to the MSW@USC learning management system is just a tap away. Current MSW@USC students can download the app for free from iTunes.
Features to Enhance Your Online Learning Experience
View course materials on the go. You can spend more time outdoors – and away from your computer – by taking course content with you. Whether that means lounging on the beach or sitting in a park, remember to take your iPhone or iPad with you, and leave the laptop at home.
Download videos. For the multimedia-starved student, the MSW@USC application delivers asynchronous content to the palm of your hand with fast loading times for even longer videos.
Network with professors and peers. It’s easier than ever to post on a classmate’s wall and send emails. One of the greatest benefits of earning an MSW degree through the Virtual Academic Center is interacting with students from all over the country – whether that means participating in a group discussion for class or joining a special-interest social community.
Receive notifications. Now you can get instant alerts that will keep you informed on the go – whether it’s notice of upcoming live sessions or assignment due dates.
Take notes. You can jot down reminders about an upcoming assignment or something you want to discuss in class. The content you post on your device seamlessly transfers to the web the next time you log in to the Virtual Academic Center from your browser.
