Take The Challenge: Join Us for National Day of Service #MLKDay

National Day of Community Service
Monday, January 20, 2014, marks the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. federal holiday. According to the Corporation for National & Community Service, “MLK Day of Service” empowers individuals, strengthens communities, bridges barriers, creates solutions to social problems, and moves us closer to Dr. King’s vision of a beloved community.”

The MSW@USC admissions team will be volunteering at a veterans and military families community fair on National Day of Service, and we hope you will also take on the challenge to serve in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy. While you are out in your community making a difference, be sure to take pictures, video and tweet us @MSWatUSC to get featured on our blog. Use #MLKDay on Twitter to see what others are doing for MLK Day of Service.

Check back here as the day goes on. We will provide live updates and pictures of our team volunteering in the field.
